Returning to the beautiful Brimfield, MA for the third year consecutive year, Disc Jam Music Festival 2013 is shaping up to be the best one yet, with a big difference this year–all three stages will be on the campgrounds, meaning no shuttles! This makes for a more intimate festival with greater opportunity to catch those “other” artists you might not have planned to see, because of the shuttle schedule.

Beautiful pines, groomed grass, and multiple stages play host to this small scale, family friendly event. The festival is not offering VIP options, so there’s a good chance your favorite artists will be joining you in the crowd at some point. Whether it’s at the 36 hole championship disc golf course, the various daytime workshops, or the vending area providing health conscious foods, disc golf products and apparel; Disc Jam is set to entertain all walks of life. There’s even a brewery on premises for those who enjoy a fine beer here and there.966458_662080723805252_586086431_o_600x309

For the moms and dads out there, feel free to bring the kids. Kids love music, and Disc Jam loves having children in attendance to help kick off the summer. Various activities for the young ones are set up to make sure you parents get those moments together too. Stick around for a few special treats Sunday which will be sure to make this Father’s Day extra special.

Having all three stages close by keeps the music flowing day and night. As the headlining performers finish their sets, you’ll have two options: Silent Disco or the ‘secret’ acoustic stage. I can’t describe it better than the folks over at Disc Jam:

“Silent Disco is where the entire crowd wears headphones that we provide to you. The music played on stage is transmitted simultaneously to the crowd wirelessly to the headphones, so that if you were to take off your headphones you would not be able to hear them playing..put them back on and you are quickly transformed back into the sonic bliss that is Silent Disco!  Think of the first time watching a new 3D movie in the theater, It’s pretty wild. Full live acts with ‘real instruments’ will provide high energy music for those looking to party well into the wee hours of the night..don’t think we left out the DJ’s, cause we will feature some of the hottest producers performing live and creating the most mind melting beats your ears can handle!

Silent Disco not for you? We also feature a ‘secret’ Acoustic Stage set up in the heart of the campground, this stage opts for a completely different late night vibe with some of the areas most smokin pickers in all the land playing out under the stars for hours on end. Bluegrass, folk, to straight up acoustic mayhem will all be going down after hours for everyone to enjoy. All the while allowing those looking to wind down at their campsites with friends the opportunity to do so.”- Disc Jam Music Festival

Having assembled another stellar line-up, with 50 plus artists, Disc Jam Music Festival is set to bring you a blend of funk, reggae, jam, rock, and blues to keep you going through three days of camping, live painting, various workshops, and disc golf tournaments (you do not have to play to attend. It’s just a part of the celebration.) Whether you’ve attended in the past or maybe, like me, this will be your first year this fest is going to set the trend for years to come. BRIMFIELD OR BUST!
