Exclusive Track :: First Listen :: Lotus :: ‘Let Me In’

On July 22nd, the funktronica kings of Lotus give birth to their 12th release titled Gilded Age. In true Lotus fashion, the unattached, self-released album is available exclusively via digital download and vinyl. Gilded Age treats fans to the post rock sound from their earlier days that may have sparked many love affairs with their unique music. Most songs off the album lack the familiar dance tempo and may sound a bit foreign at first, but don’t be fooled.  Like all true artists, the musicians are constantly evolving and progressing their sound, even if it means coming full circle and revisiting and breathing new life into their roots.  The mixed album includes 6 new songs alongside their 6 remixes (remixed by six separate down tempo artists).  With something for all Lotus lovers, it is without a doubt you will fall in love with at least one original composition or remix, and the fresh breath of Lotus air will leave fans pleased with the art piece as a whole. – Bettencourt/Urban
