Supporting Acts: Creepoid and Seahaven
Words & Photos By: Abbey Toomey-Fisk
The crowd was unusually quiet and calm before the first band, Creepoid, went on. The venue was not too packed and the buzz of excitement was hanging in the air. As the lights go down, the crowd begins to focus in on the band taking the stage. They played their first song, and immediately the crowd got really into them and was having an amazing time. Creepoid played about 6 songs and then it was time for Seahaven to go on.
Seahaven started out their set with their most popular song, “Honeybee“, and every single person in the crowd sang every word. It was really incredible to whiteness. They went on to play about 8 songs with highlight songs being of course “Honeybee” and “Plague“.
Lastly, Balance and Composure went on. They started off with the song “Parachutes“, which is the first song off their newest album “The Things We Think We’re Missing“, and the crowd went wild. Some highlight songs included “Void“, “Tiny Raindrop“, and “You Can’t Fix Me” which is an oldie but goodie in the eyes of most Balance fans. The band left the stage and the crowd chants for an encore. After several moments of up sureness that an encore was going to happen, Balance and Composure delivered with their encore playing “Quake” and “Notice Me“
All and all, if any of these bands come to a city near you on their next tour, definitely check them out; you won’t be sorry.
